Gary Roberts has been a Speedway Spectator since 1954. He also has been a Flag Marshall, Starting Marshall, Pit Steward, Rider (probably the least success at this job), Mechanic (to nobody less than Phil Collins), Referee, Reporter, Journalist, International Correspondent. Major achievements: Author of California Speedway 97, and Hamill and Hancock, World Speedway Champions Co-Founder of and ongoing contributor to speedwaybikes.com
