Al “Ace” Baker - Racer: Flat track, MX, Desert, ISDT & SCORE Baja. Winning the Baja 1000 overall twice. 1975 w/ Gene Cannady & 1982 w/ Jack Johnson. Businessman: Al Baker R&D, Mugen USA & XR’s Only, supplying racers & enthusiasts for decades. In his “spare time” he wrote a monthly column for MX Action magazine. “Wingnut” was MXA’s first tech piece. Agent: Supporting a young Johnny O'Mara from mid '70's to the '80 Mugen / Mid Ohio victory & beyond
